DAY 01
Singapore → Istanbul
Assemble at Changi International Airport. Have a pleasant
flight to Istanbul. (Meal on board)
DAY 02
Istanbul → Bolu
Explore the glorious history of the Ottoman Empire. Visit
Topkapi Palace, the main residence and administrative headquarters of the Ottoman Sultans; the Blue Mosque, over 400 years old and built without a single nail; Hippodrome Square, once the sporting and social centre of Constantinople; and Hagia Sophia (outside view), over 1,500 years old and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. DAY 03
Bolu → Amasya
Drive to Amasya, a charming town surrounded by mountains in
a riverside setting. Visit Bimarhane, a museum dedicated to the history of medicine and surgery, now a music school and museum. (B, L, D)
DAY 04
Amasya → Cappadocia
Visit the graceful Sultan Beyazit II Mosque, the largest
mosque in Amasya. Stroll along the Green River lined with whitewashed Ottoman houses, and admire the spectacular Mountain Rock Tombs carved into limestone rock, with a photo stop at the Statue of Strabo, the Greek geographer and philosopher. (B, L, D)
DAY 05
Explore Cappadocia,
selected by National Geographic as one of the most beautiful places in the world and known as “the most moon-like place on earth.” Visit Goreme Open Air Museum and Kaymakli Underground City, once home to over 10,000 people. Photo stops at Pigeon Valley, Uchisar Castle Village, Goreme Valley and Fairy Chimneys Valley, plus visits to a carpet institute, pottery village and jewellery art centre. In the evening, enjoy a belly dance night show with traditional Turkish music and unlimited drinks. (B, L, D)
DAY 06
Cappadocia → Konya → Antalya
Visit an ancient caravanserai along the Silk Road, and the
Mevlana Museum, mausoleum of Jalal ad-Din Muhammad Rumi and Konya's most important attraction. Continue to Antalya, Turkiye's largest seaside city on the Mediterranean, with beaches and ancient ruins along the coast. (B, L, D)
DAY 07
Antalya → Pamukkale
Visit Hadrian's Gate, the marble archway built to
commemorate Emperor Hadrian; the Clock Tower and Republic Square; the Broken Minaret of Korkut Mosque; Duden Waterfalls, a spectacular cascade into the sea; and the Ruins of Aspendos, a 1,800-year-old Roman amphitheatre that still hosts performances today. Overnight at a thermal hotel with natural healing pool waters. (B, L, D)
DAY 08
Pamukkale → Ephesus → Kusadasi
Visit the extensive ruins of Hierapolis and the magical white terraces of Cotton Castle, formed by mineral deposits from thermal waters. Enjoy a textile and leather fashion show, then visit Ephesus Ancient City, one of the most complete ancient ruins in the world with the Library of Celsus, Temple of Hadrian and Great Theatre, plus the House of Virgin Mary, a Christian pilgrimage site. DAY 09
Kusadasi → Bursa
Visit Cumalikizik Village, “the birthplace of the Ottoman
Empire” and a UNESCO World Heritage site with over 270 well-preserved Ottoman-style dwellings. See the Grand Mosque “Ulu Camii,” Bursa's largest and most glorious structure, and the Silk Market “Koza Han,” the final stop on the Silk Route from China. (B, L, D)
DAY 10
Bursa → Istanbul
Enjoy last-minute shopping at the Grand Bazaar for
Turkish gifts and handicrafts. Explore Fener & Balat, two historically rich neighbourhoods along the Golden Horn that have been home to Sephardic Jews, Greek and Armenian Christians, and Muslims since 1492. (B, L)
DAY 11
Istanbul → Singapore
Breakfast at leisure, followed by transfer to Istanbul Airport for
the flight back home. (B, meal on board)
